It expands, rehabilitates, upgrades, builds, and rebuilds water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, such as desalination plants; implements treatment technologies, including ozonation, biological activated carbon, membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, chemical treatment, and oxidation; and removes pollutants and contaminants from wastewater before it is released back into ecosystems. Further, the company is involved in water supply, hydroelectric power generation, and flood controlling, ensuring water availability, and energy security. The company was formerly known as SCCI National Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Shimmick Corporation in September 2023. Shimmick Corporation was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Irvine, California.
